Critical Care / Mobile Intensive Care

Critical Care / MICU units are staffed by two licensed Paramedics who hold certifications in Critical Care. With additional training, education, and equipment, our elite teams of CCEMT-Paramedics are able to treat unstable and critically ill patients. Designed primarily for inter-facility transportation, our Critical Care ambulances, the largest in the fleet, allow for additional equipment and personnel.
Our Critical Care / MICU units are equipped with:
- LifePak 12 Defibrillator/Monitors with 12-lead ECG Capabilities
- Pulse Oximetry (SpO2) Monitoring
- End-tidal CO2 (EtCO2) Monitoring
- Invasive Line Monitoring
- Noninvasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) Monitoring
- 2 Three-Channel IV Infusion Pump
- Transportation Ventilator (SINV, Assist/Control, CPAP)
- Life-Saving Medications
- Advanced Airway Equipment
- Cutting-edge Communications and Navigation Systems
