Treating bariatric patients is common, and we realize the danger for both the patient and the EMS crew. Our new unit, equipped with a specially designed ambulance gurney, significantly increases the safety and comfort for both the EMS crew and patient.

Alliance Mobile Health is proud to be the only private EMS provider in based in Oakland County to proivide such a service. Every ambulance in our fleet is equipped to handle the new gurney, though bariatric patients are transported in our heavy duty Type III ambulances, which are larger and have a box-type patient compartment.
